The bibb lettuce is doing quite well in the garden (see it here) and we need to eat as much of it as we can before it bolts. For some reason our garden lettuce leaves are always a lot thinner than anything you’d buy at the store. It’s also a lot tastier.
After a thorough washing to get off all the dirt and a good attempt at drying off the leaves, we made salads. I’m loving Nature’s Promise organic Italian dressing so I used that and tossed in some grapes and walnuts. Delicious!
