We woke up to our first measurable snowfall this morning. It was quite pretty and there was a quietness in the neighborhood.
I wanted to get outside and snap a ton of photos before Howard started to shovel but failed.
I only took about ten photos this morning which must be a new blog record for the fewest photos taken for a post.
With more snow forecast for the weekend I’ll have a chance to snap up tons of photos. It dawned on me today that I haven’t even seen the front of our house in weeks since we primarily enter from the back deck. Maybe we’ll even get enough snow to make a snowman for the front steps.
On another note, I was very tempted to call this the Friday Garden Update after I noticed that our planters are still surviving in the garage. Despite Howard leaving the garage doors wide open on the coldest night of the year, these guys haven’t succumb to the frost. Can you believe they are surviving here? They look in need of a little water but otherwise healthy! I plan to plant these grasses at the end of the driveway in the spring if they survive.
