After struggling with the bland hallways colors I’ve been brainstorming of ways to add some personality to the space. The idea that is forefront in my mind is painting the inside of the front door. Is this something normal people do? Sometimes I think that I look at too many home decorating magazines and lose my sight of reality.I revisited the Valspar website to see how their Heirloom Red color would look INSIDE. This was the color I chose last fall after everyone voted for a red front door here.
I can’t say I’m ready to commit to painting inside the door. Part of the problem might be that I don’t want to introduce the color red into the hallway. Green or blue maybe. But I do not think I’m brave enough to have a big red front door facing me each morning as I head downstairs.
What do you think? Do you have an interior door that painted in a great accent color?
