Heirloom Lace Hall

Last weekend we left the hall all patched up looking like this.

So this weekend we spent time priming and painting. Here is the hall with two fresh coats of Olympic Heirloom Lace in a flat finish. The hall looks fresher and brighter now.

Howard gets credit for most of the painting. My job was to patiently paint behind the railings.

My other job was to paint the first coat of Olympic Toasted Almond on the new accent wall. I decided not to paint the inside of the door red and try a darker paint on the front wall.

The front wall needs a second coat of paint and the trim still needs to be painted. That will make the wall contrast even more since the door and trim is an ivory color now.

I hope everyone had a good weekend!
