It’s really been a strange March in New England. Typically we’d be bracing ourselves for one last snow storm. Instead it was 86 degrees outside yesterday afternoon and it was hot!
The garden is ready to be planted but Monday calls for a frost. I’m hoping it kills all of the mosquitoes that have been taking advantage of my bare legs! I think it might be one very buggy summer here. Even the bees are out. I fear bees!
I thought I’d make a little confession today – the planters that I stored inside over the winter didn’t make it. They were happier in the garage. As soon as they got a little sun and water these guys died. Maybe the hot weather was too much of a shock?
Otherwise the yard is stating to look quite colorful.
Even the forsythia is starting to bloom.
I can’t wait for our first trip to the garden center to start our spring planting! I’m also excited to see which of our new landscaping additions survived the winter. Is your yard full of spring flowers?
Have a great weekend!
