Oak Leaf Hydrangeas

For our third anniversary, Howard’s parents bought us oak leaf hydrangea! My mother in law knew that I drool over photos of these beauties which can grow to 6 feet tall and wide.

They gifted us two plants which have already begun to flower.

The oak leaf hydrangea claim to do well in full sun or partial sun so we decided to put them in the front yard so you can see one when you pull in the driveway and one from the street.  We had to say goodbye to the euonymus plants – which we had planned to dig up long ago.

While I didn’t take the best photos of these plants, I promise the oak leaf hydrangea look beautiful in person. We are very thankful for such a thoughtful anniversary gift!
