Over the weekend we harvested more spinach and some sugar snap peas from the garden. The peas are doing really well this year and we have an abundance of them.
I tossed the sugar snap peas in some olive oil, thyme, and kosher salt and put them on the grill. I had no idea how good these would taste and they surprised us by proving to be a new favorite at our house!
We also tossed together a quick grilled pizza using the fresh spinach.
I cooked the dough on a pizza stone that was heated through on the grill and then flipped it and added the toppings. This is by far my favorite way to cook pizza.
Minus the cost of wine, we only spent about four dollars on this dinner using sale items that we had stocked up on.
