Friday Garden Update

I can’t believe it’s Friday already. And that it’s the last Friday in July! No wonder the garden looks so green!

It looks we have our first zucchini of the season. There are lots of other flowers so I’m sure we’ll have our fill soon enough.

The zucchini has outgrown the cucumbers which are still a week or so away from being ready. I don’t think we’ve ever had a cucumber  ready for harvest before August in our garden.

The rainbow chard continues to look beautiful in my biased opinion.  This chard has proven to be much more successful and hardy than spinach or lettuce. And it has more nutrition to boot!

And in other news, Howard has decided to start a feather collection.  All of these feathers have fallen in our yard.

Can we get any weirder?

Have a great weekend! See you next week!
