I’ve noticed that the days are getting shorter already. Summer is almost over. I am in love with fall and hopefully, the garden will continue to grow until October.
The fall crop of kale is starting to sprout. Between the never ending supply of rainbow chard and the kale, we should have our fill of healthy greens.
And then there are the cherry tomatoes that are just starting to turn this week. They are a littler slower than most because the garden gets more shade this time of year.
In addition, to the baby pumpkin that is growing, we also have a baby decorative squash. Ain’t he cute?
The yard is still full of flowers, so it’s really only the cooler nights and date on the calendar that is making me think summer is coming to an end.
I’m going to make the most of the last few summer weekends. Then it will be time to start some new projects like painting the outside trim.
What do you plan to do with the rest of your summer? I hope everyone has a great weekend!
