Hanging the Headboard

It was weeks months ago that we built a custom fabric headboard for the guest room here. I figured we wouldn’t actually get around to hanging the headboard until we had visitors scheduled to stay in the guest room. But, we got ahead of the curve.

To mount the headboard, we used 40 pound picture wire.  I think the steps are pretty self explanatory below.

To be safe, we used two picture hanger anchors for support. Because two are better than one, right?

Then it was time to lay back and admire the finished product.

I still might change out the bed linens. The DKNY sheets are brand new and fit my 100 percent cotton requirement but as a result they get so wrinkly. I could also try ironing the pillowcases. Or not.

I hope everyone had a good weekend!
