There is a
lot little bit of harvesting going on.
The pumpkins have been picked. They are still a little green but should ripen up nicely on the porch. I’ve heard of deer eating pumpkins so they are safer here.
We also harvested about half of the hops. We have a lot more but there is only so much harvesting that can be done when it’s dark out early during the week. I gave these hops to a friend who brews his own beer.
We continue to have tasty cucumbers and some rainbow chard.
Which is very good for us because these days our fridge tends to look pretty bare.
And currently we are out of milk.
With the cooler weather our sitting on the beach days are over. We have given our beach chairs a new life at the fire pit though. This is a perfect excuse for a pumpkin beer and some smores! Two of my favorite things in the fall.
Have a great weekend everyone!
