2013 Year in Blogging

This was a busy year.  We bought a second summer house on Cape Cod (here).

We survived a week without power and a few feet of snow (here).

We finished the bathroom project (here).  Yay!

I was asked to host a promo for Glidden Paint.  And then I was asked to just paint for Glidden Paint. Still it was exciting. But I never had time to share that experience. Instead you got lots of photos of me painting in my jammies.

There were a lot of projects that were never featured.  Like the failed house sign;

Finishing furniture;

Rebuilding the linen closet because I thought I might have seen a mouse terd; and

Staining the decks.

I promise that working on a house is not always glamorous despite how cute I look painting in those photos above.

I let the blog stats dip.  They were highest back in 2011 when I was posting regularly.

It bums me out a little bit but I understand that I didn’t put the effort in this year. And truthfully, I had more fun finding sea glass.

There were some things that stayed constant. For example. Howard still doesn’t have a face;

We still moved a lot of mulch;

DSC_0065I continued to be proud of our garden crops; and

I still miss Mishu (here).

So, what is in store for 2014? As always, we have a few secrets up our sleeves so you’ll have to wait to find out!

Have a safe and Happy New Year!
