It took a few tries but we finally found some window treatments that could be mounted inside the 3/4 inch trim frame in the kitchen. We knew the hardware was going to stick out a little so I relied on a can of trusty spray paint per usual. These shades offer much needed protection from the hot summer sun when it’s 90 with 98 percent humidity like last week. Lifesavers.
The walls are also patched and painted with Benjamin Moore’s White Wisp. There is some contrast in person. This room is really hard to photograph when the sun comes in.
We also hung some art, but I failed to get any decent before and after pictures. I’ll work on that next time.
